Fructose intolerance is a common, but relatively new diagnosis. Affecting up to 1/3 of the population, fructose intolerance results in a wide range of gastrointestinal symptoms, such as bloating, distension, cramping, diarrhea, and even depression.

In this lecture, Dr Jason Hawrelak defines fructose intolerance and explains the mechanisms by which fructose is able to cause such wide-ranging symptoms in some individuals. He also covers how to diagnose the condition, as well as offering some novel approaches to its management.

Lecture length ~45 mins. Audio-visual lecture counts towards CPE. Purchase gives you access to download the mp4 video file and a pdf file of the notes.
